The amazing and inspiring story of singer Fatima Ibrahim al-Baltagi, who was called "Star of the East" and some would say with considerable justice, that she was and remains the greatest, most famous and most revered singer of all time – Umm Kulthum!
The story of "The Lady's" life passes through a personal struggle for the right to sing against a fundamentalist society, complex identity, Arab and international nationalism and a creative peak in the great and complex singing – Inta Omri.

The Sound of Music
A production of the most successful classic musical of all time in its full version in a new Hebrew format.
The plot: Austria 1938, Maria, a young and life-loving nun who has difficulty following the convent rules, is sent by the Mother Superior to be a governess to the seven children of Captain von Trapp, a widowed and strict (Austrian) army officer. Soon Maria transforms their home from a house of rigid rules and iron discipline to a home full of joy, laughter and music. She wins the hearts of the children and later the heart of their father, and the two decide to marry. The idyll is disrupted with the Nazi occupation of Austria, and the young family must courageously face challenges and dangers on their way to a better life elsewhere.

Piaf
Exquisite French flavor filled the Culture Hall with the staging of the musical Piaf, a moving musical drama about the great French singer – Édith Piaf.
She was born on the street "under the skies of Paris." She rose from the gutters and conquered the world. Reality didn't offer her "la vie en rose," but Édith Piaf, a legend in her lifetime, "regrets nothing." Her life story is entirely "a hymn to love."
A rhythmic, moving performance, funny to tears, that raises piercing questions about the inevitable fate of a great artist. The performance is accompanied by Édith Piaf's wonderful songs performed live with orchestral accompaniment.

Michael Jackson FOREVER KING OF POP

For three days we presented at the Culture Hall the acclaimed show "KING OF POP FOREVER," the only official show in the world that receives the patronage of the Jackson family and brings to the stage the musical legacy that remains in effect to this day.
The show featured 40 artists on stage including the finest voices, musicians, dancers, hip-hop artists, special costumes, stunning light-sound design and surprising effects that together took the audience on an emotional and deep journey through Michael Jackson's greatest hits!
With more than a million and a half excited viewers and after an international tour in Mexico, France, Germany, Poland, Russia, Spain, Portugal and more, the show KING OF POP FOREVER delighted lovers of the pop king's successful songs in Israel as well.

Legally Blonde
Straight from Broadway to the Tel Aviv Culture Hall stage. Legally Blonde is a musical inspired by the 2001 film "Legally Blonde" starring Reese Witherspoon, and inspired by the Broadway musical.
The plot: Elle Woods was always the class queen, the most optimistic, the most bouncy, the most blonde. When her hobbies are shopping, fashion and beauty, one can really get confused and think she has everything in life. That's how Elle feels – until her beloved Warner decides to leave her and look for someone a bit more "serious."
But this blonde is much smarter than she appears and is in no way ready to hear "no." To prove that she's "not just a blonde" and to reconquer Warner's heart, she packs her finest pink clothes and Bruiser (her Chihuahua dog) and sets out on the journey of her life – straight to the prestigious Harvard University Law School. With the support and encouragement of her sorority sisters, she manages against all odds to represent a defendant in a murder trial and get her acquitted. Along the way, she learns to know herself and understands what's really important in life.

The Rocky Horror Show

Straight from the Ambassador Theatre stage in Broadway, New York – Roxie Hart, Velma Kelly and Billy Flynn landed in Levi Hall and brought with them all the dances, costumes, sets and exquisite cast for one big celebration of "all that jazz."
The international production of the musical 'Chicago,' winner of Tony Awards including Best Musical, came for 13 performances at Tel Aviv Culture Hall. In the role of Roxie Hart, the production cast Shiri Maimon as the lead star in the successful musical.
The musical's plot takes place during the Prohibition era of the 1920s in Chicago, USA. 'Chicago' tells the story of Roxie Hart – a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her lover after he threatened to leave her. Fear of conviction leads her to deceive the public, the media and her cellmate – Velma Kelly. Roxie Hart hires the services of Chicago's #1 criminal lawyer, Billy Flynn, who helps her turn her heinous crime into sensational headlines that could easily have been taken from today's newspapers.
The American production directed by David Hyslop and with choreography by David Bushman came to Israel with a full cast, with the elaborate set design by John Lee Beatty and the magnificent costumes by William Ivey Long.
Alongside Shiri Maimon in the role of Roxie Hart, Amra-Faye Wright played Velma Kelly, Tom Hewitt played Billy Flynn, Evan Harrington played Amos Hart, Cady Huffman played Matron 'Mama' Morton and R. Lowe played Mary Sunshine.

The original production from the West End in London came to Israel for the first time for a limited number of performances at Tel Aviv Culture Hall, as part of a world tour by the Ambassadors Theatre, directed by Christopher Luscombe and Tony Castro.
The Rocky Horror Show is a musical written and composed by Richard O'Brien as a humorous homage to science fiction and horror films that were popular in the United States between the 1940s and early 1970s.
Australian Jim Sharman produced and directed the original London production of the musical, which premiered on June 19, 1973 before moving to other venues, until it closed on September 13, 1980 after 2,960 performances and winning the Evening Standard Award for Best Musical of 1973. In 1974, the musical's premiere took place in the United States. Over the years, the musical has been staged countless times, in various international productions, all over the world, and of course on Broadway and in the West End.
In 1975, the musical was adapted into a film directed by Jim Sharman, based on a screenplay by Sharman and Richard O'Brien who also composed the songs. The film is now considered a cult film called "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" with fans around the world.
