Jazz Series - Season 3: FORTEPIANO
November 2022 – August 2023
The third season of the successful jazz series, under the artistic direction of Eli Degibri, lasted about nine months and took place at the Rock Club (Sela Lounge). The series featured the finest artists from the local and international jazz scene, who together with the audience delved into the depths of music and original creation.

Jazz Series - Season 2
April – August 2022
The jazz series, under the artistic direction of Eli Degibri, featured five performances in which select jazz ensembles from the country participated, performing five carefully chosen jazz albums. Each performance was dedicated to a different masterpiece jazz album and told a wonderful musical story!
The ensembles that performed in the series: Amit Friedman Sextet performed John Coltrane's 'Blue Train,' Daniel Rubin, Deborah Drai, Shari Zak-Levy and Yonatan Riklis Quintet performed Billie Holiday's 'Lady Sings The Blues,' Assaf Yuria and Zhoka Perpinian Quintet performed Stan Getz & Joao Gilberto's 'Getz/Gilberto,' Gregory Rivkin, Nitzan Bar and Ily Kadosh performed Nicholas Payton, Mark Whitfeld & Christian McBride's 'Fingerpainting' – special guest: Eli Degibri, Katya Toubol Trio performed Ahmad Jamal's 'Ahmad's Blues.'
Jazz Series - Season 1
August – December 2021
Tel Aviv Culture Hall launched in summer 2021 the "Jazz Sela Lounge," a unique jazz performance series under the artistic direction of composer, arranger and saxophonist Eli Degibri. Five fascinating performances in the series are performed by esteemed jazz ensembles of international Israeli artists: Yonathan Avishai Trio, Yotam Silberstein Trio, Shai Maestro Duo, Ilan Salem Sextet, and Degibri Big Band.
The jazz performances at the Rock Club take place in an intimate and exclusive atmosphere. The audience surrounds the stage, which is located in the center of the hall, and becomes an integral part of the performance and the electrifying atmosphere.
Degibri Big Band
Degibri Big Band takes the stage at Sela Lounge time and again, making us all travel back in time and feel the most special we can with the great music, electrifying atmosphere, and mesmerizing performance!
Each performance by the ensemble is unique and different from the previous one, with special guests who arrive as surprises. In each performance, the band plays new music that was written especially and tailored to the measurements of this thrilling orchestra.
The Degibri Big Band was founded about six years ago by Eli Degibri with the goal of reviving the dynasty of big bands and connecting them to the Israeli audience through collaborations with Israeli artists and Israeli creation.
